FAQ
What people usually ask before we talk. Prices and terms are on the services page.
Is this consulting?
Not the slide kind. The review gives you a plan; then I own the work with your team until we get the outcome we agreed on.
Can't we do this with AI?
AI can write the plan in a minute. Someone still has to own it for months: the trade-offs, the people, the week it slips. That's the part I do.
How do you work with our product team?
Alongside them. Nobody loses their seat. As a special-projects lead I take a piece your team has no room for. As an interim head of product I fill a seat that's empty, back your PMs, and help you hire the permanent lead.
What does it cost?
The roadmap and delivery review is from €4,000. If we keep working together, it counts toward the next step. After that, it's a monthly fee for a set length. We agree it after the review, once we both know what the job really is. Prices exclude VAT. Terms are on the services page.
What's in scope?
One defined thing: a stalled initiative, a new product line, or a product function to set up. The review turns it into a written scope. Anything outside it is priced in writing before work starts.
Why a contractor and not a hire?
You get a senior product lead for exactly as long as you need one. No hiring process, no notice period, and a clean handover at a date you know from day one. If you need a permanent product lead, I help you hire them before I leave.
Do you write code?
I lead product work. I may prototype to test an idea, never inside your codebase.
How do you work with our CTO?
I work with your CTO on what to build and why. Code practices, CI/CD and architecture stay with your engineering team.
Hours and time zones?
Remote by default, on-site for kickoffs and workshops. EU and UK time zones work best. US clients get a fixed overlap window. Either way, working hours are agreed in writing.
What happens at the end of a block?
We review what's moved against the scope we set at the start. Then you pick: a new block with new goals, or a clean handover to your team or the product lead I helped you hire.
What happens when you leave?
The handover is part of the scope: a handover pack with the written decisions and docs, a trained owner on your team, or the hire I helped you make.
